Safe Motherhood Action Groups & Youth Friendly Corners

Safe Motherhood Action Groups (SAMGS) and Youth Friendly Corners were projects carried out in the four communities that HOPE Zambia operates in. Funded by Positive Action for Children Fund(PACF) through ViiV Healthcare, HOPE Zambia were able to educate 200 pregnant and breastfeeding women in caring for their babies, maternal care, family planning, and HIV. The women are also encouraged to access health centers in their communities. Using peer-to-peer. Another 300 youths were educated about HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
