Kupasa Mwana Program
“KUPASA MWANA” is a Nyanja word which means “Giving a child”. This provides a secure early year’s foundation care for Orphan’s and Vulnerable Children (OVC) aged 0 – 6 years. The program is child centered and involves Caregivers to contribute to the child’s developmental growth. The program is funded by UK individual Donor.
After School Program to Inspire girls to Resume or complete their Education was centered on Adolescent Girls and Young Women(AGYW) aged 10-24 years who were at risk of leaving school or who dropped out of school before completing their education. The AGYW were inspired, motivated and supported to continue and complete their education up to Grade 12. The Program supported 216 AGYW with school bursaries and other school accessories. The program ended in March 2019.
The innovative Clubs were aimed to inspire AGYW to pursue education by creating a fun, collaborative learning Environment with modern educational innovations; iSchool tablets and Experifun Science tools. The AGYW were also taught self defense, how to make reusable sanitary towels using fleece and chitenge materials.
