Hope Volunteer Corps

HOPE Volunteer Corp is a program that improves the lives of communities where HwwZ operates in Lusaka Zambia. On each trip we include a variety of volunteers with from professions ranging from countries all across the world.

On our first Volunteer Corp we saw 42 volunteers from the UK, USA, Canada France and Australia volunteer in renovating and refurbishing the Mtendere Pre-school. For 14 days the volunteers took part in painting, landscaping, toy-making, classrooms decoration, teaching, snack making and construction of the playground. The volunteers are also engaged in such a way that they are able to teach local staff about different skills, such as medical skills or IT.
